Project scale: Liangping County
Liangping County is situated in the northeast of Chongqing, and is the landway hub connecting urban area of Chongqing with Three-gorge Reservoir Area as well as important hub of road and railway traffic trunk-line from Shanghai to Chengdu and Chongqing, landway traffic hub and important materials distribution center in the northeast of Chongqing.
Liangping County is overall urban and rural comprehensive reform pilot county of Chongqing. Under the grounding that Chongqing is greatly promoting new urbanization, we deeply research the urbanization status of Liangping County and put forward planning suggestions on urbanization layout of Liangping County in future 7 years to guide industrial cluster development of Liangping County and cultivate the advantageous and leading industry. It is planned to mainly develop tourism, commercial trade, education and residence etc tertiary industry to promote urbanization, build the urban grade scale structure including county town – central town – general town to realize regional coordinated development. We will stick to the sustainable development road by properly treating the relation between the urban population gathering and the county’s ecological environment through development of modern agriculture and overall urban and rural development.
